Alfred Vinton is the Chairman of Electra Partners Ltd, a fund management company based in London specialising in private equity with £1.6 billion under management.From 1962 to 1987, he worked for JP Morgan in the United States, South America and London and was Senior Vice President responsible for the bank's operations in the UK from 1980 to 1986.Mr Vinton has also held the positions of Chief Operating Officer at NM Rothschild & Sons, and Chief Executive of the Bemberg Family Group responsible for their financial assets.

Mr Vinton was born in Argentina and graduated from Harvard University in 1960 with a BSc degree in Economics.
