Mr. Vinton joined the faculty of Christian Heritage School in the fall of 1982 as the first full-time mathematics teacher in the Upper School.He became the Mathematics Department Head in 1986 and was promoted to his current position of Assistant Upper School Principal in 2000.Dan is a native of Syracuse, NY.He earned a B.A. in Mathematics from The King's College in 1982 and a M.A. in Mathematics from Western Connecticut State University in 1990.He resides in Shelton and has two children, both who graduated from CHS , Stephanie '04 and Kevin '06.

Dan is an active member of Calvary Evangelical Free Church in Trumbull.
