   Erwin Vink earned a Bachelor's degree from the Higher Laboratory School in Breda, Netherlands and a Master's degree in Chemistry from Utrecht University, Netherlands.
   
   Professional career Mr Vink first worked part-time for Cargill Dow LLC (today's NatureWorks LLC) in 1996 focusing on the environmental aspects of the life cycle of NatureWorks® biopolymers.He then joined NatureWorks LLC in November 2000 on a full-time basis, as an Environmental Affairs Manager working in the area of LCA, environment and sustainability.He is also a board member of European Bioplastics.
   
   Before joining NatureWorks he worked in various functions for the Dow Chemical Company, Netherlands.

   Erwin Vink is the environmental affairs manager for Cargill Dow BV.Vink's responsibilities revolve around life-cycle assessment for the current and future development of NatureWorks PLA.Vink provides life-cycle information, such as scientific data and documentation, to Cargill Dow employees, customers and government officials, as well as other external organizations around the globe.
   
   Vink began his career at The Dow Chemical Company in 1984.In the early 1990's, he began serving as a member of Dow's Europe Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Core Group, which involved several internal and external projects, such as eco-profiles covering various polymers, chemical intermediates and final chemical products.In 1996, Vink was appointed head of environmental, health and safety (EH&S) for products for Dow in the Benelux region.
   
   Vink earned a bachelor's from the Higher Laboratory School in Breda, The Netherlands, and a master's in chemistry from the Utrecht University in The Netherlands.
