As a Network Administrator for State Farm Insurance between 1996 and 2000, Addison supported network servers and workstations.He was actively involved in supporting the large email infrastructure that ran Exchange 5.5.He coordinated the migration of hundreds of users from legacy email systems to the new Exchange 5.5 infrastructure, as well as implementing uniformed workstation profiles for his users.

In 2001 Addison joined David at BuildFile to design and support the Windows 2000 infrastructure that BuildFile is built upon.
