Satish Velagapudi, M.D., joined Fort Wayne Urology in January 2004.
Dr. Velagapudi was born in Bangor, Maine.
He received his medical degree and completed his urology residency at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine from 1981 to 1992, and completed a urologic oncology fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, in 1993.

He is board certified by the American Board of Urology and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, as well as a member of the American Urologic Association, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Society of Surgical Oncology and Society of Urologic Oncology.
Dr. Velagapudi has expertise in urologic oncology with a focus on prostate, bladder, kidney and testicular cancers.
In addition to treating cancer, his professional expertise includes minimally invasive surgical approaches for treatment of urologic diseases and stones.
Dr. Velagapudi and his wife Christine have one daughter.
Aside from spending time with his family, he enjoys outdoor activities and traveling.
