LOU A. VAUGHAN

MARTINSBURG , WV-Lou Alyce Shelor Vaughan , 72 , died Saturday , August 4 , 2001 in Williamsport Nursing Home.Born Dec. 24 , 1928 , in Floyd , she was the daughter of the late George D. and Loura Quesenberry Shelor.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church , Martinsburg , Zeta Tau Alpha and the Gateway Garden Club.He was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and was active with the Apllo Civic Theatre.She was a graduate of Floyd High School and Longwood College.

She leaves : her husband , Dr. Maurice H. Vaughan , at ; two sons , Mark S. and Taylor W. Vaughan , both of Alexandria ; two daughters , Peggy Vaughan Bottik of Los Angeles and Della Vaughan Bastianelli of Alexandria ; two grandchildren , Tatiana Vaughan and Rachel Bastianelli ; and one brother , William Shelor of Floyd.

A memorial service was held at 11 : 00 a.m. Monday , August 6 , 2001 , at the First Presbyterian Church , with the Rev. Robert S. Hill , Jr. officiating.Interment was private.
