Reece & Nichols Realtors named Linda Vaughan as president, the company said in a release Friday.Vaughan assumes a title that has been held by Jerry Reece, who remains as CEO of the residential real estate company.

Vaughan has more than 29 years of experience in real estate, most recently serving as manager of Reece & Nichols' Town Center office and the branch's 125 sales associates.
As president, Vaughan will oversee day-to-day business operations; supervise the company's 28 branch managers; and coordinate with affiliated businesses Plaza Mortgage, Kansas City Title, HomeServices Insurance and Reece & Nichols Alliance.
The company said Vaughan will move into her new position during the next few months.
