Linda Vaughan

Linda Vaughan, director of accounting and financial reporting at CCCCD, says that the award is "a credit to all the employees in the Business Office who prepared it and to the President and Board for their support and guidance."

Vaughan has been CCCCD's director of accounting and financial reporting since January 2002.In the 14 years prior to that, she worked for the city of Allen, first as an accountant, then as chief accountant, and finally as its finance director.Under her direction, the city of Allen also received GFOA Certificates of Achievement from 1998-2001.Vaughan received her BBA in Accounting from Texas A&M University in 1984.
