FARGO, N.D. - Community First Bankshares, Inc., (Nasdaq:CFBX) today announced the appointment of Dean Kling as senior vice president, financial services program manager, and Doug Vang as senior vice president and director of human resources.

Vang joins Community First from Banner Health Systems, Fargo, N.D., where he held a number of positions of increasing responsibility, most recently senior vice president and chief operating officer.During his years with Banner Health, he earned a reputation for building high performance teams and developing performance measures and incentive programs that significantly improved productivity and contributed meaningfully to the overall success of the company.Vang received a B.S. Summa Cum Laude and a J.D. with Distinction, both from the University of North Dakota.
