   Mr. Vallier is a member of the Ascension Health Board of Trustees. He is currently serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI), where he is a member of the President's Council and is responsible for developing and directing national human resources strategies, policies, programs and processes focused on accomplishing CHI's strategic mission, vision and values. He also is a member of the CHAN Associate Services Committee, the Centura Health Executive Compensation Committee and the CHA Diversity Committee.
   
   Mr. Vallier has extensive human resource expertise. He served as Executive Vice President at Revlon, Inc., and has held leadership positions in human resources at Harvard University, Central Massachusetts Health Care, Inc., Health America Corporation, and Shell Oil Company. Mr. Vallier also served in the United States Air Force Chaplain's Service and Social Actions Division.
   
   Mr. Vallier received his bachelor's degree in personnel and labor relations from the University of Maryland, College Park, and served as co-chairman of the Harvard University Association of Black Faculty and Administrators. He partnered with the Workplace Diversity Network, a joint project of the National Conference for Community and Justice and Cornell University, ILR, on diversity issues.
