   Cara Kadoshima Vallier is a Policy Advisor with McCabe & Company where she assists a broad range of public and private clients with matters pending before the California Coastal Commission. Her professional experience includes the following: campaign fundraising for State Senator Sheila Kuehl and Assemblymember Fran Pavley; and as a former paralegal at the Seattle City Attorney's office in the Environmental Protection section.
   
   She is an active member of many community service and political organizations. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Little Tokyo Service Center; the California and Los Angeles Political Action Committees of the National Organization for Women (NOW); and the UCLA Legislative and Community Affairs team. Additionally, she serves on the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) Implementation Task Force for the City of Los Angeles. Ms. Vallier received her Master of Public Policy from the University of California, Los Angeles and her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Washington.
