Steven Della ValleSteven Della Valle has been a teacher at Lancashire since 1984.He holds an associate's degree in early childhood education from Delaware County Community College and a bachelor's degree in elementary education from West Chester University.He designed, organized, and implemented athletic leagues for Lancashire students during recess and after school.He received an MBNA grant in 1999 and earned the American Family Positive Teaching award in 1996.Both this award and his induction into the Who's Who Among American Teachers publication were based on letters written by former students indicating that he was the teacher who had most inspired them.

His philosophy of education states: The key to teaching children is loving children.

Steve has exceptional rapport with his students, and they know what he expects from them both in his class and when they go to specials outside his class.He cares so much about his students that he instills many of life's important lessons to them.
