  Paul is our president, chief executive officer and director.Prior to joining St. Germain in 1995, he was the second vice president of General Reinsurance Corporation in Stamford, Connecticut where he managed the firm's $2.5 billion equity portfolio.Paul sits on various boards, for- and not-for profit companies such as The Springfield Performing Arts Development Corporation and Junior Achievement of Western Massachusetts.In both instances, he is vice chairman of these boards.In addition, Paul is on the both boards of the Economic Development Councils of Western Massachusetts and Hartford, Connecticut as well as Unapen, Inc., a nationally recognized counsulting and software development firm that serves assets managers in the financial services industry.Paul graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA with a BA in economics/accounting.He earned his MBA in finance from New York University's Stern School of Business.Among designations he holds, Paul is a Chartered Financial Analyst [CFA] and a Certified Financial Planner [CFP] as well as a being a member of the CFA Institute and Hartford, CT CFA Society.
