Cathy Valenzuela brings more that 20 years of banking expertise
DENVER - March 9, 2004 - Arizona Business Bank announced the hiring of a new president who will open a bank in the area of Mesa and Gilbert, Ariz. by the third quarter of 2004.Cathy Valenzuela, a 21-year veteran of the Phoenix banking market, will serve as the president of the new bank location.

Valenzuela began her banking career with The Valley National Bank of Arizona, which became Bank One, Arizona.She left Bank One in 1998, after serving as a business banking center manager and credit administrator, to become a commercial relationship manager at Johnson Bank, Arizona.She received her bachelor's degree in business from the Arizona State University.
Valenzuela currently is a member of the board of directors and the loan committee for the Business Development Financing Corporation, which reviews loan requests for various banks and small businesses requesting financing from the Small Business Administration.She is also a member of the Mesa, Chandler and Gilbert Chambers of Commerce.
