Valenzuela takes the place of Knabe's former San Gabriel Valley deputy, Mishal Montgomery.While Montgomery is stepping down from full-time employment with the County, she will continue to lend her expertise in policy and capital planning to a number of Fourth District projects.

"Mishal has done a fantastic job representing my office in Diamond Bar, Hacienda Heights, Rowland Heights and La Habra Heights," Supervisor Knabe said."She is truly a class act, and I know her constant presence in the community will be missed.But, I also feel very fortunate to have an individual like Angie to serve in this vital area of my district."

Valenzuela has been with the Fourth District for nearly ten years, working as a policy deputy on issues pertaining to the County's Community Development Commission and as a field representative in the southeast cities of Downey, Norwalk, La Mirada and Whittier.She will operate from the Fourth District's Rowland Height's field office and can be contacted at (562) 943-4351 or (909) 5946561.
