Alvaro Valenzuela Joins Samuel A. Ramirez & Co. as Senior Analyst
NEW YORK, April 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Alvaro Rodrigo Valenzuela has joined investment bank Samuel A. Ramirez & Company as a senior analyst.Valenzuela has more than 14 years experience in equity research and investment banking in both the U.S. and Latin America.
Prior to joining Ramirez & Co., he was managing director at New York-based ETHOS Capital, LLC, where he specialized in the basic materials and infrastructure sectors and structured investments via equity, quasi-equity and debt instruments.Previously, he was a director at NAES Capital Corp., based in Issaquah, Wash., where he managed structured debt and equity investments in industrial power generation and gas and water utilities for pension funds, insurance companies and private equity investors in Latin America and Asia.
Valenzuela also served as a management consultant for DailyShopper.com in Seattle, Washington.He has held senior research positions with ABN AMRO Securities in Brazil, and with Caspian Securities Inc., Nomura Securities International and Salomon Brothers in New York.
