   Stephen J. Valentine, Manager, Indexing Stephen J. Valentine is the manager of Indexing and Family Reconstitution for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He has managed the completion of such indexing projects as the 1900 US Census, Ellis Island Immigration and Passenger Records project, the 1880 United States Census, and the 1881 Canadian Census. He is currently managing the indexing of numerous domestic and international projects, including the 1850 US Census and 1930 Mexico Census, and joint projects with the Indiana Genealogical Society, New England Historic and Genealogical Society, the Ohio Genealogical Society, and many others. He has led the development of the new Internet-based FamilySearch Indexing system. Stephen holds a BS and MS from Utah State University. He is the proud father of five brilliant children.
