Hazel is a widely experienced coach, mentor and facilitator who brings to her work 27 years of knowledge and specialist skills.Since 1989 Hazel has been a Director and Partner of a niche consultancy that has undertaken a spectrum of assignments in Banking, Manufacturing and Distribution, Local and Central Government and Offshore Exploration and Gas.Prior to 1989 she worked with Ernst & Young in both their HR Practice and Banking & Financial Services sector.She also helped set up a headhunting and recruitment consultancy in 1985.Hazel's values are encompassed in an holistic approach which is both inspirational and enables people to fulfil their aspirations, desires and potential either in their work role or in life.She demonstrates this by combining wisdom, insightful feedback and above all integrity and warmth. During her experience as a consultant some examples of her work are:researching, designing and delivering change programmes within a major UK bankleading a project to introduce performance coaching for managers in the UK sales forceworking closely with HR Directors and Managers to enable them to gain a greater understanding of the impact of stress in the workplace and its potential harmful effects on their employeesinvestigating low productivity and high absenteeism in a manufacturing and distribution company, resulting in a TQM programme which delivered a complete turnaround in customer service, product quality and team workHer experience of coaching and mentoring people in both the UK and Europe has been captured in The Performance Coach, a manual for facilitators and managers on how to coach their staff (published by Gower 2003) and is accredited by Middlesex University at Post Graduate level.Hazel has a Masters Degree in Human Resource Strategy and Group Development from London Metropolitan University having researched Action Learning in the Financial Services Industry.She has also a Counselling Skills Certificate, and Certificates in Gestalt Coaching and Consultancy and TA. She has trained in Dimensions of Facilitator Styles (John Heron) at University of Surrey and was a part time visiting lecturer on the MA programme at London Metropolitan University.Hazel has an Advanced Diploma in Executive Coaching and has been a member of the faculty of the Academy of Executive Coaching for 5 years.She is Director of the Foundation Diploma in Executive Coaching and Assistant faculty for the Advanced Diploma.Hazel lives with her husband near Chichester having returned from a period of living in France and still remains a confirmed Francophile.Her other interests are walking, photography, interior design and cookery having previously trained in catering and home economics.
