Valentine , of the Stefanik School PTO , said the jobs like organizing events , shopping for functions , counting money and lugging equipment always falls on the three loyal parents.
A few will volunteer to help at fun events like the ice cream social , but when she has to count on someone to do the difficult , dull and dirty work , the only people who will pitch in are staffers.
I think it is apathy , she said.We are all very busy people , but we find the time..
