   Cindy Valentine Cindy taught sixth grade for five years in both Florida and in Nassau County. She is a New York State certified teacher, and has received training from some of the foremost and highly recognized Children's Yoga Programs such as YogaKids (All Three Phases), Sonya Sumar's, "Yoga for the Special Child", and Radiant Child Yoga Program. She stays active in her own community, as well as volunteers in many classrooms throughout Nassau/Suffolk County. Cindy is described by teachers and her students as, "compassionate, creative, fun, energetic, and motivating." She founded and taught a comprehensive pilot children's yoga program in several Syosset Elementary Schools throughout the 2003-2004 school year. Cindy is also an independent consultant, and a consultant for SCOPE. In addition she is sought out by many schools for various character education and yoga programs.

   Cindy Valentine taught sixth grade for five years in both Florida and in Nassau County. In addition to yoga, Cindy has received a grant for a Character Education/Holocaust Institute at Florida State University, researched, attended and studied many programs for Character Education, and is currently working on developing a literature-based program for educators. She stays active in her own community, as well as volunteers in many classrooms throughout Nassau/Suffolk County. Cindy is described by teachers and her students as, "compassionate, creative, fun, energetic, and motivating."
   
   Presently Cindy is working in many Nassau and Suffolk County Schools educating children, as well as teachers and staff about Character Education and Children's Yoga. She founded and taught a comprehensive pilot children's yoga program in several Syosset Elementary Schools throughout the 2003-2004 school year. Cindy is also an independent consultant, and a consultant for SCOPE. In addition she is sought out by many schools for various character education and yoga programs. She has developed numerous interdisciplinary workshops and programs designed to help educators learn a more comprehensive approach to teaching Character Education and learning how to incorporate yoga into the daily curriculum.
   
   All workshops are hands on and involve all participants. She will work with grades K-12, teachers and staff, and children with special needs.
