Greg Udelhofen of Quality Remodeler magazine praised the new GE Profile Arctica refrigerator by saying the company reinvented its refrigerators with better temperature control using multiple sensors.This helps distribute cool air evenly within the food compartments.In the freezer compartment, sensors make sure defrosting occurs only when necessary and helps reduce freezer burn.It can also make ice 40 percent faster than a regular refrigerator icemaker.

"It can chill wine in minutes and thaw frozen meat in half the time it would normally take," said Udelhofen.
