Our Clinic legal assistant, Michael Udejiofor, screens clients for income eligibility. Those clients with higher income who do not meet our pro bono guidelines are sent to the volunteer lawyer. The client may retain the lawyer for further assistance. Over the years, several of our volunteer lawyers have built their private practice in this manner.
