It all started one winter day in early 2003.
Cofounders Winston Tseng and Chris Ling were facing a dilemma that every young adult must overcome at some point in their lives ... "What are we going to do with our lives?"
...
You see, Winston had just graduated from the University of California, Berkeley a few weeks before, but was not excited about the career options that lay ahead for a young man with degrees in mathematics and economics.
...
Chris came up with the idea of selling contraceptives on the internet to people who wanted to remain anonymous, and Winston promptly rejected that idea.
...
Since both Chris and Winston had been luckily blessed with the gift of "no game", they came up with a unique way for people to meet on the internet, without the stigma of the "I'm so desperate I'll go on internet looking for love".
