Alliance Investment appoints William Tseng as new CEO

Alliance Investment Bank Bhd (AIB) has appointed William Tseng as its new director and chief executive officer (CEO) effective Sept 11, it said on Sept 12.

Tseng, with his asset securitisation and structured finance experience in the Netherlands and Brazil, will be involved in building up the investment banking business.

Alliance Banking Group CEO Bridget Lai said: "Tseng would also be driving the bank's corporate, institutional banking and treasury business as well as stockbroking business."

Prior to the appointment, Tseng was the managing director of Asia Financial Holdings (AFH)/ Temasek Holdings (Private) Ltd, where he advised on a key treasury project in Bank Danamon, Indonesia and coordinated Temasek's Investment in Bank of China.
