Jenny Chieh-Ying Tsai

Jenny is an accomplished pianist as well as an experienced educator.She received her Master's Degree in Music and Music Education from Teacher's College, Columbia University in 2004.Her master programs focus on piano performance and education, and well as on jazz improvisation and arrangement.This background establishes Jenny the solid foundation for teaching young children in making music.
While studying at Columbia University, Jenny not only took part in an improvisation music group "Spirit" and served as teaching assistant in jazz improvisation classes, she also accumulated extensive piano teaching experience outside the campus.At the same time, she also participated, as music director and pianist, in the production of a musical "As Flowers Grow".After her graduation from Columbia University, she came to Boston and worked as the music director of two musical productions "Annie" and "The Wizard of Oz".
Jenny currently teaches private piano lessons and Music Beginner group programs at LexiMusic.While she does not teach for us, Jenny teaches private piano lessons as well as group programs at Happy Music.She also teaches a number of her own private students in Greater Boston area and at Gymboree as she is a Certified Gymboree Music Teacher.
