In a nutshell, that's the message given this week in a press conference by Lucie Trudel, the volunteer personnel director for the Championships.She and others on Eric Savard's World Youth team are preparing for an influx of some 1400 athletes aged 15-17 from 160 participating countries.Various volunteer committees are already working on planning the event, and they have just launched a recruitment campaign for 2000 additional volunteers aged 16 or older to help out during July 1-13.On top of that, they are looking for 2000 volunteers aged 12 to 17 to participate in the opening and closing ceremonies.

Townshippers' Association is collaborating in this effort.Our goal is to find 300 English-speaking volunteers aged 16 and older as of July 1st, 2003.
