From January 20 to 24, IATP Access Site Administrator Konstantin Trubicyn, hosted a training in Web design for 10 sophomores majoring in journalism at Osh State University in Osh, Kyrgyzstan.The training introduced participants to photo-editing software, HTML, concepts of Web design, and dynamic updating of information on websites.At the conclusion of the course, the students had the opportunity to create their own first webpages, and expressed eagerness to continue to IATP's trainings on more advanced topics.
Internet Course for Staff of Legal Information Center in Talas, KyrgyzstanFrom January 20 to 24, the IATP access site in Talas, Kyrgyzstan, hosted a training entitled "Internet Basics" for five staff members of the Legal Information Center (LIC) at the Toktogulov Library.The training included a general introduction to the Web, the Internet addressing system, Web browsers, search engines, forums, chats, e-mails, and other Internet tools.
