Jane leads the team developing TTAC's Basics of Tobacco Control CD-ROM and provides expert guidance on other educational efforts.She is a Senior Associate faculty in the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Health Education at the Rollins School of Public Health (RSPH).A Registered Nurse with a background in Anthropology, she holds a Master's degree in Health Promotion and Health Education.

Jane has over 20 years of experience in conducting community assessments, designing programs in response to community needs, writing curricula, and conducting training.She has conducted over 15 major community needs assessments throughout Georgia and has done similar work in Latin America.She has served as a technical consultant to the 8th World Conference on Tobacco Or Health for the American Cancer Society, the Hamilton Health Care Foundation, the Georgia Division of Public Health, and the Environmental Protection Agency, Region 4.For the last eight years she has taught Community Needs Assessment at the RSPH and has taught in the distance education Career Masters of Public Health program.Jane has held elective offices in a national professional public health organization.
