Wendy Trotta

Michael and Wendy Trotta met in the Enology and Viticulture program at Fresno State.Michael began his career with an externship at Bernardus in Carmel Valley, followed by a brief stint at Yalumba in South Australia.Since 2001, he has been a member of the winemaking team at Elyse Winery, where he was promoted to Winemaker in 2004.There, he crafts wines for the Elyse and Jacob Franklin labels, as well as consulting for Falcor Cellars and Shifflett Estate.

Wendy has worked as Enologist at such well-known wineries as Dominus, H De V, Bell, and Frank Family.Her winemaking experience is complimented by 15 years in the fine dining world.She is currently on the winemaking team at Cain Vineyards in St. Helena.
