Trost has a bachelor's degree in finance and management from the University of Oklahoma , Norman , and a graduate degree from the Graduate School of Banking of the South , Baton Rouge , La. Before joining Lincoln National Bank in 1991 , Trost was a senior vice president for Liberty Bank and Trust in Oklahoma City.Before that , he was a division manager with Southwestern Bell.He is an adviser to the Baptist Foundation of Oklahoma and a member of the senior management committee of the Oklahoma Bankers Association.He was appointed by Oklahoma's governor to serve on a Community Development Capital Formation Task Force to explore the capital investment needs of various Oklahoma communities.
