Trinkle was a student at Daytona Beach Community College and worked at a day-care center in Palm Coast.

Trinkle's family had just moved to Palm Coast a year ago from upstate New York.Her grandparents believe she was on her way home from a friend's house in DeLand when the accident occurred.
