Trinkle Design Associates, an interior design firm specializing in floor covering, was founded by Bernard L. Trinkle in 1988.Bernard, more commonly known as Buddy, was President of Andreozzi & Trinkle from 1976 to 1988.Before that, Buddy worked with his father at Trinkle Floor Covering which was in business for over 35 years.

Born and raised in Rhode Island, Buddy graduated from Bryant College with a Bachelor's in Marketing in 1975.He completed his post-graduate studies at the Rhode Island School of Design.He is a member of the Tau Leadership Rhode Island Class of 1988.He is a Certified Independent Inspector for Floor Coverings, a financial supporter for Big Brothers of Rhode Island, a sponsor for the Wheeler School Philanthropy Board, and a former Event Sponsor at Bradley Hospital and Rhode Island Hospital.
