Mary Treat

Mary Treat Associate Director , Validation Mary has been working in the biopharmaceutical/pharmaceutical industry for over ten years.After receiving B.S. and M.S. degrees in Microbiology from Texas A&M University, she began her career managing research laboratories and conducting molecular biology research at Texas A&M and at Oak Ridge National Lab.At BioWhittaker, Inc., she moved from R&D to manufacturing where she utilized her analytical training and methods development abilities to qualify manufacturing procedures and methods.She was promoted to Manager of Validations where she was responsible for conducting equipment, process, facilities, analytical methods and cleaning validations.Following her spouse to California, she continued her profession at Irvine Scientific as Manager of Validations.Upon leaving Irvine Scientific, Mary became a Validations Consultant.Mary was hired as a Validations Consultant at Peregrine Pharmaceuticals, and has since joined the Avid Bioservices quality team as Manager of Validations and Microbiological QC.
