Treat, 79, of Jonesboro died April 12, 2004, at his home.He was born July 24, 1924, to Isaac and Vernie Treat.He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving as a belly-gunner on a B-17 and was shot down over Germany and was a prisoner of war.He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the VFW.He was a member and deacon of Woodsprings Baptist Church and a member of the Gideon's International.
