The hard left Guardian newspaper ran an item that particularly mocked Express and Star astrologer Justin Toper for his off beam predictions on celebrities in 2005; but the Guardian in its policy of criticising horoscopes, was left behind by the other papers long ago, because newspapers do not run horoscope columns, they run â€Å"solarscope†columns, just based on sun signs, and serious astrologers will say these are for fun only,
Yet the astrologers always beat hands down the scientific community in predictive competitions, as the year ended the scientists with their futurists, trend forecasters, sales projectionists, market and strategic analysts only scored 30%, whereas the astrologers and â€Å" newspaper horoscopists†achieved a higher 44% on average
The hard left Guardian glosses over that part, but in years gone by the horoscope column was often faked up by editors wife’s or Bit-of-stuff, just as today many an in house journalist will read a couple of books and do a write up as a pretended scholar, just parroting back what he has read.
