Mark Tobin was honored for his achievements as chair of JFS' endowment campaign.
Under his leadership, JFS' endowment has grown from two million to twelve million dollars.
Tobin, a vice president at the Beverly Hills office of internationally-known financial consultants A. G. Edwards & Sons, Inc., has had a distinguished career in financial services.
A seasoned leader and competitor, Tobin has the distinction of being one of the youngest lieutenants to serve in the U.S. Army and is an avid mountain climber.
"Mark had to conquer a different kind of mountain when he accepted the challenge to build the endowment," said Paul S. Castro, executive director of JFS.
