Richard A. TitusBELLMONT - Richard A. Titus, 63, of the Titus Road, Bellmont and formerly of Plattsburgh died Friday, June 16, 2006, at Fletcher Allen Health Care, Burlington.

He was born in Massena, N.Y., on Jan. 14, 1943, the son of Raymond and Amelia Titus.He was a graduate of Chateaugay Central School in 1964.

He served 18 years in the U.S. Army, 18 months active duty and 16 and a half reserve duty.He worked 37 years for Georgia Pacific Paper Mill in Plattsburgh, N.Y., and retired February 2004.He was a member of the American Legion Post 20 in Plattsburgh.
