Melissa Timmerman Attorney at Law Email: Melissa@kochlaw.com Born and raised in Dubuque, Iowa, Melissa moved to Western Washington in 1994. After having been told by her teachers that she enjoys chatting with her neighbors too much, and her extracurricular activities of drama and debate in high school, it became readily apparent she should consider practicing law as a career. Melissa received her BA from the University of Washington and her JD from the Seattle University School of Law. She has been admitted to practice in both Washington State and the United States District Court- Western District of Washington. Professional memberships include the Washington State Bar Association and the Washington State Trial Lawyer's Association. Melissa is active in her parish in Kent, Washington, and volunteers with Multifaith Works, a Seattle-based non-profit organization dedicated to assisting people living with life-threatening illnesses. In her spare time, she enjoys walking with her two dogs, politics, history, playing cards, and spending time with her family, both here and in Iowa.
