   Timm Appointed to APJ Post
   
   Catherine (Kelly) Timm, an examiner in TC 1700 and an active delegate on the POPA Executive Committee, was selected in March to serve as an Administrative Patent Judge.
   
   Kelly served as a union negotiator on many teams, and was a key player in automation negotiations and performed as a union-appointed beta tester. She helped as a union attorney in unfair labor practice filings and worked hard to improve the workplace and work lives of patent professionals.
   
   Kelly will continue to serve the patent community well in her new role as an APJ.
