    BNSF Begins Rule Book Pilot Project on Two Divisions.

    A new pilot project is underway on two divisions which hopefully will allow most BNSF Train , Yard and Engine employees to eventually eliminate a few pounds from their personal grips or bags.

    On the Dakota and Powder River Divisions , rule book holders are being installed on locomotives to hold BNSF's version of the GCOR TY&E Safety Supplement , and Air Brake and Train Handling Rules , thus ultimately eliminating the need for TY&E employees to carry personal rule books if successful.The pilot project will last about 60 days.
