One of local cable's most accomplished sales promotion and marketing strategists, Michael Timar recently moved over to Charter Media in a position where he has a tall order: Come up with concepts, programs and packages for 28 individual systems encompassing more than a half-million subs in central and northern California, northern Nevada, Oregon and Washington.

Before Charter, he was an AE with Comcast Spotlight in Grand Junction, Colo., a regional sales manager with Cox Media based in Paris, Tex., and a regional sales manager with Cable One based in Prescott, Ariz.
