   Orlando, FL (March 10, 1998) -- Florida Water Services today announced the appointment of John L. Tillman as Vice President of Marketing and Sales. His primary responsibilities include building a broader industrial base and recruiting developers to place new developments and communities within areas served by Florida Water Services. Additionally, he will be pursuing the expansion of Florida Water Services' non-regulated water businesses.
   
   The addition of John Tillman brings completion to Florida Water Service's management team, said John Cirello, Ph.D., president and CEO of Florida Water Services.

   Prior to joining Florida Water Services, Tillman served as vice president and general manager at OPW in Cincinnati, Ohio and prior to that served for seven years as the vice president of sales and marketing for J.M. Huber Corporation in the Flow Control Division. He managed 14 service centers and was an integral component of strategic planning and implementation. While in the military, Tillman served as a captain in the U.S. Army Southern Command. Tillman received his bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Southern Mississippi and his masters of business administration degree in marketing from LaSalle University.
