   Linda Tierney is director of public relations and development for the Franciscan Sisters of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in St. Louis, Missouri. She was director of communications for the Franciscan Sisters from 1997 to 2000, at which time she assumed the development position for the congregation. Linda has a bachelor's degree in English with a minor in psychology and a writing certificate from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She graduated magna cum laude. She served on the national board for NCNWR from October 1999 until 2004: treasurer from 2000 through 2001, chairperson of the NCNWR conference in St. Louis in 2002 and served as co-chairperson of the board in 2003. Linda is an active member of the National Catholic Development Conference, Kirkwood Rotary Club and Kirkwood Area Chamber of Commerce as well as the Community Service Public Relations Council in St. Louis.

   The new vice chair is Mira Mosle, BVM, coordinator of public relations for the Sisters of Charity of the BVM ; and member at large is Linda Tierney, director of communication for the Franciscan Sisters of Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
   
   NCNWR has more than 160 members who serve as communicators for congregations of women religious. Its purpose is to enhance the image and advance the mission of women religious. Jeanean Merkel serves as LCWR liaison to the organization.
