  Sally Thornton is a Methodist local preacher living in north Manchester. She is also a lead singer with the Christian worship group Wellspring and regularly sings on Radio 4's Daily Service. She has recently completed a documentary for BBC Local Radio on fresh expressions and is currently leading a six week course on mission-shaped church in Stockport.

  Many were moved to tears in each concert as they enjoyed to a varied programme which featured Sally Thornton and Alan Tokeley as soloists.
