A valuation professional with more than 30 years' experience, Neil Thompson oversees engagements that involve substantial machinery and equipment.His experience spans all major industries and is particularly extensive in the steel industry, petroleum and petrochemicals, the amusement park and recreational industry, chemicals, food processing, foundry and forging operations, furniture manufacturing, hospitals and health care, machine tool manufacturing, mining, plastics, and publishing and communications.He has investigated properties in Europe and Latin America as well as in the United States.

Mr. Thompson is a senior member of the American Society of Appraisers, holding the designation Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA).He has served on the society's International Board of Examiners for Machinery and Equipment and its International Machinery and Equipment Committee.In addition, he has served four terms as president of the ASA's Kentucky Chapter and five terms as the organization's state director in Kentucky.
