    The President and CEO of the WOLPNET, Ms. Una Kumba Thompson, said her organization, through the support of OXFAM-GB, has established six support-centers in Montserrado and Bong counties respectively.She revealed that the centers would provide counseling and motherly-love for women and young girls affected from GBV and sexual exploitation.

    Further pointing out that the centers are the first of its kind in the country and intended to solve most of the difficulties encountered by women, Ms. Thompson explained that the communities identified are infested areas where women experience sexual abuses by men on daily basis.

    We will make those violent men to understand that women are their sisters, mothers, and partners in progress and that they should be treated with love and tender care; not to beat or force them into romantic exercises," she furthered.

    Ms. Thompson is meanwhile urging community dwellers to make maximum use of the centers, in order to reduce the high rate of sexual abuse against women.
