So, you could say that Tyler Thompson has been involved with worship for twenty five years.As far as ministry goes, Tyler has been involved with worship ministries in California and Arizona for the last ten years.Currently the Minister of Music at First Presbyterian Church of Westminster, Tyler has also served at Grace Evangelical Free Church of La Mirada, Discovery Church of Peoria, and Shiloh Community Church of Phoenix.Tyler obtained his Bachelor of Music Degree in Voice Performance from Biola University, where he was a student of Dr. William Lock.At Biola, Tyler was Worship Coordinator for chapels, working together with Chaplain Ron Hafer.Also at Biola, Tyler was a member of the Biola Kingsmen, a six-part male accapella harmony group.Currently, Tyler is pursuing the Master of Music Degree in Voice Performance from California State University at Fullerton.At Fullerton, Tyler is a student of Dr. Gerald Seminatore, singing in the University Singers with John Alexander and the Opera Theater Program with Janet Smith.Considered another form of worship, Tyler continues to perform in the Southern California area in operas, oratorio, and other classical music platforms.

Tyler Thompson has joined us as our new Worship leader.With over twenty-five years of experience in leading worship, a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from Biola University where he was a member of the Biola Kingsmen (a six-part male a cappella harmony group), and currently pursuing the Master of Music Degree in Voice Performance from California University at Fullerton, Tyler brings a wealth of musical experience as well as a love for Israel and the Hebrew language to our congregation.His gifted voice is one that any cantor would long to have and we consider ourselves blessed indeed to have him lead us into the presence of the Lord on Shabbat mornings.

After Grove City eliminated Thomas More via a dramatic 10-9 win that ended with a three-run walk-off home run by GCC's Tyler Thompson, the defending PAC champion Wolverines were eliminated in the nightcap by W&J 18-7.
