Nathan Thompson

Nathan oversees the development and enhancement of partnerships within the regional community. He is responsible for United Way 2-1-1 the fund distribution process, staff lead for the financial stability focus area and support of United Way's partner agencies. Nathan is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Master's degree in social work. Prior to his position with United Way, Nathan was the executive director of CASA of Clark & Madison Counties, Inc. Away from the office, Nathan spends his time with his wife Rhonda and avidly pursues his love of cooking and other hobbies.

Tuesday's ceremony, said Nathan Thompson, executive director of CASA of Clark & Madison Counties Inc., was a "milestone" event.CASA volunteers have been in place in Madison County for several years, he said, and have done a great job.He lauded Clark District Judge Jeff Walson who was instrumental in founding the local chapter, as the "father" of CASA in Clark County.

Thompson noted the new volunteers had completed a nine-week, 40-hour training session to prepare them for their work and had passed a screening process.
