    "We're in a very unique position in the marketplace," Thompson said.

    Spectra Logic's specialty is in 8-millimeter tape products, but during the past couple of years, the company has migrated into the half-inch tape market and most recently started the evolution into disk.

    Nathan Thompson (Production Manager / Technical Director) received an MFA in Technical Direction from the North Carolina School of the Arts in 1999 and a BA in literature from Wheaton college.He has worked in many venues, including Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Scenic View, Inc., and Center Theatre in Chicago, as well as Freelance Staging in North Carolina and IATSE Local # 635 in Winston-Salem.Nate has worked in theatre, film, television and performance as a technical director, carpenter, welder, scenic artist and stage hand.Nate has designed over a dozen shows in various smaller venues, ranging from children's theatre to college to professional.He is currently a full-time instructor / technical director for the University of Colorado at Denver.
