Pat Thiessen

Pat Thiessen - Owner/Broker/GRI

Born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania and raised in the suburban Philadelphia area, Pat is a graduate of Taylor University in Upland, Indiana, holding a BS degree with majors in education and psychology. She also holds a Master's Degree in Library Science from the University of Michigan, where she was elected to membership in Beta Phi Mu. Further graduate work was done at The University of Minnesota in the field of psychology.

Pat is a former resident of Wayzata, Minnesota as well as the Sylvania, Ohio area. She taught school in both those states and was a Reference Librarian for the Toledo Lucas County Library System in Ohio. Since moving to Florida in 1983, She and her husband became involved in buying waterfront properties as an investment.

Pat became a realtor in 1992 in order to market her own investment property. Pat is a member of the Sarasota Board of Realtors, The Florida Association of Realtors and has obtained the G.R.I. designation.
